People have been using natural pesticides for many, many years. In the beginning, they used these ways to keep their homes clean of insects, but probably were not able to use the same methods on their crops.

We kind of make a distinction between ‘chemicals’ and ‘natural products’. This is actually quite bizarre, because everything can be reduced to its chemical components. Not only that, but government institutions, such as America’s FDA, has to approve chemicals, whereas natural chemicals are completely unregulated.
